On Monday, C-U at Home announced the total amount of money raised during One Winter Night 2021.

A total of $563,000 was raised through this year's event.

The goal for One Winter Night 2021 was originally $450,000.

This money will help C-U at Home continue assisting the homeless population in the Champaign-Urbana area.

"I am absolutely shocked, humbled, amazed, I can't, I'm nearly speechless," C-U at Home Executive Director Rob Dalhaus said during a Facebook Live. "Seeing that number, seeing the support that continues to pour in for C-U at Home so we can be there for our friends without an address in their most vulnerable, in their weakest, most stressful time. Seeing that number, it almost brings tears to my eyes."

The goal for One Winter Night 2020 was surpassed, as well.

The 2020 goal was set at $350,000, and more than $359,000 was raised.

Next year's One Winter Night is set for Feb. 4, 2022.
